A TRIP TO MEXICO

Well what can I say…? I went to Mexico a month ago now.   We prayed and prayed if the trip would be possible. It was my desire and petition before our Lord for three weeks to be able to make a trip back down. The three days prior to the deadline to leave on the trip were full of answered prayers and surprising adventures in getting a new vehicle ready and filling it up with supplies.

MISSION SUPPORT

Often times, as missionaries, we preconceive the notion that our mission will be directly involved with sharing the Gospel.  We do share the Gospel, but it is very often the case that we just end up supporting what others are doing, and they share the Gospel.

THE LIGHT STILL SHINES

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matt 5:16
A confirmation just came to us that the light still shines from our house. Like Nicodemos who came to Jesus night, we had a visitor who stood at the gate last evening.....

I was able to visit the principle of the High School yesterday. We were preparing and praying for a team that could return again to the English classes this year. We just found out that last year there was a complaint against us for bringing religion into the school. The English teacher explained that we went too far...

Its been a great winter so far. Not much is white here, like the snow we miss, but there has arisen some new believers here. We also see more maturity with those are that are serving with us...

I prayed; "Heavenly Father, what will you have us do here in Mexico?" We had a few general ideas of what our work would entail, but those ideas would not fill our days.  I never felt good about meticulously planning the whole time in Mexico, so I didn't.  In fact, I told my family....
