HIGH SCHOOL

I was able to visit the principle of the High School yesterday. We were preparing and praying for a team that could return again to the English classes this year. We just found out that last year there was a complaint against us for bringing religion into the school. The English teacher explained that we went too far in passing out the bi-lingual New Testaments. He shared how surprised he was that we had gotten away with our sharing for so many years. The principle asked me to come back and try again next year. I assured him that we wanted to respect his authority and for that reason we did not pass out any literature that had doctrine from any one church. The content of our songs and testimonies was undeniable and we have no regrets for sharing a clear gospel with those young people and some of the teachers for 6 consecutive years. 

One of my  Elders once shared with me that, " A closed door, is another open door somewhere else." As I left the compound I wondered if I was correct in purchasing the 2 cases of bi -lingual NT's that we had intended to give out. Then I saw how useful they could be next fall, if God allows us a place to teach English in that same village.

Our progress on purchasing the lot near the High School is going slow, please keep praying for this.

There really are new photos on the web page now. Gordon has re-modeled it a lot. In the ministry section, photos of the water filters that we are building and distributing can now be seen. The New Testaments that we just copied are going fast. May Gods' word not return void, but accomplish all that he desires. We are now able to obtain and share the whole Bible on DVD also.  If you are wondering about something or someone, please ask.  We can post photos and report about what you inquire about, ok?

MINISTRY

There has been some good  home visits made this first week that I have been back. There is one more week in this month and 3 weeks next month that we will be able to labor here. Then we need to return to Tucson for some more work. Giving out eye glasses and bibles has been a joy. I am going through a proverbs book with the men, individualy. We have also received a fresh supply of DVD movies and teaching CD's in spanish that we are lending out. Several brothers have come to visit and we are enjoying basket ball, hunting stories, and much more, the word of God.
